2. Mandy Chan, Cofounder of Vital Gear Bold
Mandy Chan is passionate about challenging her comfort zones, constantly asking “what’s the worst that can happen?”, just to get more out of life. Her life was pretty ordinary till the age of 19 when she decided to take a gap year before SMU to pursue her dream of starting a business. From launching functional backpacks on Kickstarter to now launching our own multi-brand store, she is excited to see what the future brings.
Vital Gear Bold is a lifestyle company focused on creating, managing and bringing iconic brands to the market. It currently own 2 brands: Bold ( www.thebold.co ) and our own retail concept brand Thee Bold Stories (www.theeboldstories.com).
3. Liyana Sulaiman – CPTO/Co – Founder of Pollen
Liyana Sulaiman is a Singaporean entrepreneur who has been a technology advisor, mentor and founder across the US and Southeast Asia startup ecosystems.
Currently, she is the CPTO and Co – Founder of Pollen, Asia’s first B2B Liquidation marketplace designed for sustainability. She is recognized as a technology product leader in Singapore, Top 30 Women in Product Management for APAC 2019 by PMF and ‘Woman of the Year’ category finalist for the 2020 Women in IT Awards APAC edition.
4. Saim Yeong Harng – Founder/CEO/Entreprenuer
Saim is a founder, CEO, and board director with a strong track record in venture building. He was the driving force behind CardsPal, a thriving corporate venture backed by Standard Chartered Bank, where he led the venture’s growth from inception to a successful acquisition by utu, a travel technology company, in June 2023.
Committed to empowering the next generation, Saim serves as a mentor to students at SMU and has volunteered to mentor women entrepreneurs in Africa through the esteemed Youth Business International program.
Actively engaged in the community, Saim is a member of the Young Business Leader Network within the Singapore Business Federation. Additionally, he holds the position of independent director in a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women through economic independence.
Beyond his ventures and mentorship, Saim is a certified agile coach, bringing a dynamic approach to leadership and organizational agility. He frequently shares his insights on venture building and offers a forward-thinking vision for the industry at prestigious events.
