Dr William Wan
Dr William Wan, our Chief Advisor, has 15 years of legal experience, 35 years of leadership in NPOs, and 4 years as MD of a psychometric company, is a highly accomplished individual.
He has founded law firms, NPOs, and served as an adjunct and visiting professor at esteemed institutions in Singapore, USA, and Canada.
As an advisor and board member, he has made significant contributions to various organizations and government committees.
With his extensive public speaking engagements, publications, and numerous awards, including the Civilian Commendation and the President’s Philanthropy and Volunteerism Award, Dr Wan is recognized for his outstanding dedication to the public good.
James Tian
Mr. James Tian is a highly accomplished social entrepreneur specializing in donation in-kind machines, materials, and facilities, job creation for the unemployed, and work/occupational therapy for marginalized individuals.
He is recognized for his expertise in creating new social enterprises, work therapy programs, collaboration, networking, and marketing surplus and second-hand goods. With a strong background in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Melbourne, Mr. Tian brings a diverse skill set to his endeavors.
He is a member of esteemed alumni associations such as French Alumni, NUS, and the University of Melbourne, and has served as the Past President of the Rotary Club International.
Notably, he is an Advisor Business Consultant to Farm2Hope, a project addressing Singapore’s food requirements, and has recently been appointed as a consultant to the Singapore Silat Federation, focusing on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity (DEI) initiatives and fundraising.
Lee Soo Chye
Mr Lee Soo Chye’s practice encompasses advising corporates (listed and private) and individuals on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including restructuring and compliance, strategies in dispute resolutions, initial public offerings, reverse takeovers and mergers and acquisitions as well as management buy-outs.
Over these years, he has worked with many of his clients on issues relating to businesses and estates and has successfully implemented plans that have developed from such considerations, including the setting up of trusts (both testamentary and inter vivos), foundations and charities.
In addition to his role as a Senior Partner at his law firm, he also serves as a legal adviser, or a board / council member on various charitable and non-profit organizations in Singapore.
Dr Lilian Koh
Dr Lilian Koh worked at Ministry of Education for 17 years before teaching postgraduate courses at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). She was Faculty Associate at A*STAR and Principal Investigator of research grants at NTU.
She is the Founder and Chair of the Fintech Academy in Singapore, which spearheads talent development programmes and certifications for fintech, in collaboration with universities. She is Advisor to the Institute of Blockchain Singapore.
She is also the Director of the Center for Research and Innovation @ NTUitive, a spin-off of NTU and was the Chair of the Center of Financial Education at NTU in partnership with Citi and SGX. She was Advisor of NTU Investment Club too
Appointed International Consultant by the World Bank, she was also consultant to National Healthcare Group, Pearson, Citigroup and UNESCO. She was also Research Director for Curtin, Singapore.
Dr Koh is the editor and co-authored “Singapore: The Fintech Nation”, one of the first books about Singapore’s financial technology journey and the first International Handbook of Financial Literacy by Springer.
Dr Koh was also the Speaker on Future Ready Skills @ Talent Pavilion Singapore Fintech Festival 2021
